LAG Neretva

LAG Neretva is located in Opuzen, Croatia on Jasenska 2/b. LAG Neretva is rated 3.5 out of 5 in the category nonprofit organization management in Croatia. Local Action Group NERETVA (LAG NERETVA) was founded on 17.12.2012. as an effort of rural towns and municipalities in the Neretva valley for the application procedures of the EU LEADER program for rural development. Area of LAG Neretva, in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County (DNC), make seven cities and municipalities: cities Ploče, Opuzen and Metković with the Municipalities Pojezerje, Kula Norinska, Zažablje and Slivno. LAG NERETVA is civil association founded by local governments, local public institutions such as schools, representatives of the local business sector and citizens' associations from the valley area. The administrative area of the LAG is 412.56 km2, and its area has 35,672 inhabitants. Our VISION is to be an area of competitive agriculture and small and medium enterprises, preserved natural and cultural heritage, enterprising and capable residents who work and live in pleasant area.
