We bring together individuals who share a belief that the principle of freedom of the individual is a primary value of the economic, political and legal system and underlies prosperous societies. We define liberty as lack of coercion and consider it to be the primary political value. We advocate for a society built upon the results of free activities and relationships of individuals limited only by other individuals’ liberty to undertake such same actions. We consider the concept of monopoly of the legitimate use of physical force behind the government apparatus to be a threat to the described vision of a free society and an obstacle to a sustainable economic system in which wellbeing and personal happiness of every individual are more easy to achieve. We believe that the modern welfare state contains a moral flaw which was inherent to all the collectivist totalitarian regimes that preceded it such as Despotism, Feudalism, Fascism, Nazism, communism and selfgoverning socialism. This moral flaw is the idea that a group of people can and should manage lives and resources of all the others through means of coercion in order to achieve some “just societal goal”. We find this moral flaw to be the true source of corruption, nepotism, unemployment and perpetual economic crisis in Croatian and European societies, which are under a very strong influence of comprehensive government control. Therefore, by consistently applying the principle of limiting the use of coercion against individuals, we consider that the largest possible role of a government in a society is limited to maintaining an efficient and to all equally applicable legal and judicial system with a sole purpose of strengthening the rule of law and legal certainty
