ALOHA is an acronym for Abacus Learning of Higher Arithmetic. ALOHA Mental arithmetic is a worldwide educational program which relies on scientifically proven methods of brain development through the use of an ancient calculating tool called the abacus. The program has been specifically designed for children aged from 4 to 13 since most of the brain development happens in that period. ALOHA students first learn to calculate using the abacus, and then they visualize the abacus and perform calculations through mental arithmetic. This allows them to use the left and right hemispheres of their brain at the same time, thereby tapping into the brain's full potential at an early age. ALOHA allows the brain to become stronger by creating more synapses between the two hemispheres, as well as improving concentration, attention, and focus.
