While it is the oldest infrastructural institution of the academic and research community in the area of application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Srce is still one of the key subjects in planning, designing, construction and maintainance of the newest computing, communication and information infrastructure (e-infrastructure). Srce continuously maintains stable, reliable and high quality operations of the present e-infrastructure and central systems which support it, ensures connection among Croatian academic e-infrastructure with the related European and global e-infrastructure and gives practical, consulting and educational support to the members of the academic and research community in using ICT and acts as the computing centre of the largest university in Croatia – the University of Zagreb.
