Tvrtka Pršut Voštane d.o.o. bavi se proizvodnjom, prodajom i distribucijom suhomesnatih proizvoda od 1997. godine. Rad je započela s godišnjim kapacitetom od 50 tona pršuta godišnje. Posljednjih godina kapaciteti su dosegli 90 000 komada godišnje proizvodnje ove delicije, koju zaposlenici stručno vode kroz sve proizvodne segmente, realizirajući tako ideju o autohtonom proizvodu. Proizvodnja pršuta u Dalmaciji datira iz vremena Starog Rima otkuda se vještina prerade i očuvanja svinjskog mesa soljenjem i sušenje proširila europskim kontinentom. Od tada se pa do danas vještina proizvodnje pršuta prenosila iz generacije u generaciju, te se s vremenom razvio postupak koji je specifičan za područje Dalmacije. Tu recepturu proizvodnje dalmatinskog pršuta njegujemo pri nastanku naših proizvoda, spajajući tradicionalne i autohtone vrijednosti s modernom tehnologijom. Company Pršut Voštane d.o.o. is the producer, seller and distributor of cured meat products since 1997. The company initial yearly output of 50 tons of prosciutto, in the last few years has reached the output 90 000 pieces of this delicacy a year. Professional employees are steering production through all segments, making the idea of an autochthonous product come true. Production of the prosciutto in Dalmatia dates back to the time of Ancient Rome. Rome´s legionaries spread the skills of pork processing and storage through the European continent. Since that time, prosciutto production knowledge has passed down from generation to generation, and eventually developed a procedure that is specific to the region of Dalmatia.
