Lapidarium Hostel is a newly opened, freshly renovated family hostel, located in the southern part of Zagreb. Within walking distance of the well-known Arena shopping center and sports stadium (the largest mall in Zagreb)--as well as the Zagreb Expo Center and Jarun Lake, a popular outdoor recreation and summer party destination. Hostel also boasts quick access by foot to a hilltop path overlooking the famous Sava river which runs through Zagreb, and is within walking distance also of Bundek Lake, the Hippodrome horse track, and even a golf course, among other attractions. For those who've built up a late-night appetite from a busy day, or those who simply wish to grab a snack or have lunch nearby, there is a McDonald's across the street which is open until midnight, along with a large grocery store which offers sandwiches for takeaway. And speaking of being on the move, excellent public transportation options lie right around the corner!
